Conference

The IACA Annual Training Conference is the most impactful training event of the year for analysts from around the world. Attendees range from students through seasoned industry professionals, all with the goal of learning new techniques, strengthening their knowledge, and equipping their department for ongoing success. The week-long conference consists of multiple concurrent training tracks offering a vast array of information for all skills and ability levels.  Tracks offer courses in the following areas of instruction:

  • Crime and intelligence analysis
  • Real-world case studies
  • Investigative and analytical techniques
  • Statistical analysis
  • Hands-on computer training
  • ESRI’s ArcPro

The conference traditionally draws over 600 attendees, with a record attendance of 774 in 2023. While held in the United States, it draws analysts from over 20 countries each year. In addition to training classes, the conference also offers impactful networking opportunities for attendees. The Exhibitor Expo includes approximately 30 companies showcasing their products and teaching attendees the skills necessary to utilize the products to the best of their ability.

Awards, Contests & Scholarships
