Registration Costs 

  • IACA Members:  $575.00
  • Non-Members:  $675.00
  • Full-Time Students:  $150.00  (proof of full-time status required)
    • To be qualified for the student rate, the registrant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student, not employed by a criminal justice agency or an IACA exhibiting vendor. Students must submit a copy of their current transcripts to the IACA Conference Registrar ([email protected]) and be approved, before registering, to receive the student rate. Students actively enrolled in a crime and intelligence certification program also qualify for the student rate. The student rate does not apply to certification students employed full-time by a criminal justice agency as a crime/intelligence analyst or similar role. Full-time law enforcement employees (dispatcher, records specialist, etc.) who are certification students do qualify for the student rate.

Monday, September 16 to Friday, September 20, 2024. Sessions mostly occur 0800-1700 hours. Friday is a half-day. Check back for additional information about courses and special events.

Keynote Speaker

Keynote Speaker Chief Superintendent John Webster will speak of his experience of driving the use of analysis to drive operations within the Great Manchester Police - Stockport District, United Kingdom to drive the responses to the crime and safety issues within his District and beyond. Chief Superintendent John started his career with Staffordshire Police in the late 1990's before transferring to Merseyside Police in 2001. He has largely served in detective roles throughout his career and worked in a variety of roles, including as a detective in Liverpool City Centre and with the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit. In recent years John has been Head of Merseyside's Major Crime Unit before taking up his most recent position as Head of Scientific Support. For the last ten years he has been an active member of Merseyside's Hostage and Crisis Negotiation Team and is passionate about helping people when they are most in need.

Awards Ceremony & Luncheon

Winners of annual awards and the analytical product contest will be announced during the luncheon on the first day of the conference, hosted by Penlink. You must RSVP with your registration to attend this event. The luncheon is currently sold out.

Welcome Reception & Exhibitor Expo

Attend the Monday night Welcome Reception and show us "wear" you are from by representing your city, state, or country in the attire that shows us your heritage, agency or home.  RSVP to attend this event through your registration. Vendors will be on site to showcase their products and answer your questions. 

Challenge Coin Contest

Mini-Store

Cancellation Policy

All conference registration cancellations must be submitted in writing to the IACA Conference Registrar at [email protected] on or prior to Friday, August 16, 2024 for a full refund.

  • Registrants who cancel on or prior to Friday, August 16, 2024, will receive a full refund if the registrant completed the registration process and paid prior to Friday, August 16, 2024.
  • Registrants who pay registration fees, do not attend the conference, and fail to notify the IACA Conference Registrar of their cancellation will NOT receive a refund.
  • Registrants who have registered and not paid prior to the conference will be responsible for a $150 food/administrative fee if cancellation is not received by Friday, August 16, 2024.
  • If your registration fee has been paid, but you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another person in your organization. All transfers/substitutions must be coordinated with the IACA Conference Registrar at [email protected]. Please notify as soon as you have determined that a substitution is required.
