  • How much? IACA members-$10, Non-members $20
  • Register here!
  • Skill Sets Covered in this Session: GIS and Crime Mapping (Skill Set 14) and Spatial Analysis and Forecasting (Skill Set 15)

All Certification Series webinars will be recorded; if you cannot attend the live session, we will provide the recording as soon as possible to those who register. If you need to catch up, the first SEVEN sessions are now available in the webinar library!

Last session examined crime through the lens of time. This session looks at crime as a function of location. We will cover creating maps with GIS to display raw data, as well as hot spot analysis and spatial distribution. Maps showing several ways to demonstrate the same data will be shown, and we will discuss which map is the most effective in conveying your message. Forecasting and modeling will continue to be discussed. Round out your study guide on crime patterns with this session.

The process of becoming a certified analyst can seem overwhelming. Let us help you tame the beast that is the CLEA/LEAF exams. This year-long series serves as a study guide for the CLEA/LEAF exams, working through each of the 19 sections tested. The format includes a presentation of the material and a question-and-answer session for each topic.

Registration will close at 1600 Central Time the business day before the webinar.

GoToWebinar invites will be sent out roughly 1 week before the webinar. If you have not received your GoToWebinar invite by the morning of the webinar, check your spam folder and then email us. Certificates of attendance are provided the next day by the webinar service to those who participate.

If you have questions about the webinar program, please view our FAQs page or email [email protected].
