With your strengthened Excel and statistics skill sets, you’re ready to analyze some criminal behavior and trends. This session will begin several sessions of analyzing crime patterns, specifically in the context of time, day of week, intervals, and the cyclical nature of crime. We will create activity matrices and do some series analysis and forecasting. Analysts can demonstrate creative problem solving and determine patterns of crime as they emerge within and across jurisdictions. Show your team what analysts can really do!

The process of becoming a certified analyst can seem overwhelming. Let us help you tame the beast that is the CLEA/LEAF exams. This year-long series serves as a study guide for the CLEA/LEAF exams, working through each of the 19 sections tested. The format includes a presentation of the material and a question-and-answer session for each topic.
