International Problem-Oriented Policing and Crime Analysis Training Conference
September 27-30, 2010
Arlington Convention Center, Arlington, Texas

Sponsored by
The Center for Problem-Oriented Policing
The International Association of Crime Analysts

Hosted by the Arlington Police Department
With support from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services

Analysis is a critical step in the problem-oriented policing process, and problem-oriented techniques ensure that crime analysts’ products are effectively implemented. This year, the International Association of Crime Analysts and the Center for Problem-Oriented Policing celebrate this interdependency by joining the 21st annual POP conference and the 20th annual IACA conference into a single, not-to-be missed policing event.

The 2010 POP/IACA conference will feature more than 50 training sessions focusing on both problem-oriented policing strategies and crime analysis techniques, from fundamentals and foundations to advanced tools and tactics. We will have dozens of exhibitors, several networking functions and forums, awards, prizes, and all of the other features you have come to expect from these two organizations.

This is a conference for analysts, officers, and executives to attend together, learning both how to study crime and disorder and how to effectively respond to it.

The registration fee for the conference is $450, and group discounts are available for agencies registering at least 6 people. For more information, please visit the POP Center website.
